Bibi Sara suddenly found herself alone—with no father, no husband, and five young daughters who depended entirely on her.
From that day forward, Bibi Sara had to become both a mother and a father, as well as the family's sole provider. During the day, she worked in people's homes, cleaning and washing clothes. At night, she and her daughters made traditional Afghan caps to earn enough money to survive. Finding even a single meal for herself and her daughters became a daily struggle.
Despite poverty and countless difficulties, she never gave up. Day and night, she worked tirelessly to raise her daughters, determined not to let them spend their entire lives suffering as she had.
But life still did not show her mercy.
Three of her daughters were forced into marriage by a very cruel family. They were threatened and pressured into marriage through threats against their honor and dignity. Bibi Sara had no one to stand up for her daughters or protect them from this injustice. She had no husband beside her and no son to support or defend the family.
Eventually, her daughters each went on to live their own lives, and Bibi Sara was left alone with one grandchild.
A woman who had spent her entire life fighting for her family never had the opportunity to experience a peaceful life herself.
Years of poverty, pressure, and suffering have taken a heavy toll on Bibi Sara's body and spirit. Today, serious illnesses have left her weak and unable to care for herself. Her financial situation is so difficult that she cannot even afford to visit a doctor or receive the medical treatment she urgently needs.
Bibi Sara devoted her entire life to her family. She was a mother of five daughters, yet during the most difficult moments of her life, she had no one to hold her hand or stand beside her.
