Let’s Help Safi and His Family This Ramadan! Safi is a man who has fallen into extreme financial hardship, and due to severe struggles, he is now suffering from mental illness. He has two daughters and one son, but his life is filled with painful losses. He lost two of his sons in suicide attacks, and one of his daughters went missing in Pakistan. His wife, after suffering a head injury, continues to experience pain and suffering. His youngest daughter has a suffering from Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) and urgently needs medical treatment. They have nothing to eat at home, and Safi is deeply in debt to the local bakery. The baker constantly harasses his young son, demanding that his father repay the debt. Safi, burdened by financial struggles and mental distress, reached the point where he attempted to take his own life and that of his family. Fortunately, he was not successful, and today he is still alive, still in need, and still waiting for a helping hand. There is nothing wrong with Safi or his family—he is simply a man broken by life’s hardships. Perhaps if we extend our kindness, he can find the strength to stand again.
