About Campaign

Over 60 bright, ambitious girls in our community brave freezing temperatures just to learn English. Some walk 30 minutes in the cold, their tiny hands numb, just to join Noorban’s free ESL classes, a program founded by Sara Halimi.

Winter is making learning even harder. Our classrooms are cold, the commute is freezing, and many students are falling sick. Without proper warmth, focus drops and learning suffers, but you can help change that.

We are raising funds to Providing heaters and fuel for warm classrooms, Give winter clothes like gloves, hats, socks, and jackets for outside, Support the students most at risk, making sure every girl can attend class safel

Your support matters. By donating today, you’re not just keeping a classroom warm , you’re helping a girl chase her dreams, learn new skills, and build a future she deserves.

I am an Afghan girl striving not only to grow myself but also to uplift my community. When educational institutions were banned for Afghan females, I continued my education through other sources. I developed my skills, but I felt deeply saddened that many people couldn’t access the same opportunities. This motivated me to start volunteering. I first volunteered with the KUDAC organization for about two years. By December 2024, I was ready to take the next step and launch Noorban, an NGO helping individuals develop skills to succeed. Now, Noorban has been running for one year. It has three classes with over 60 students, and a new class will open in December 2025. I plan to expand Noorban into a larger project. Currently, I teach English classes at Noorban and volunteer for Atalaan.
