The Winter food drive for war-affected families in Paktia campaign by Mariam Hotaki resulted in fundraising of $ USD 3,500 (Three thousand five hundred) USD, funding provisions distributed by Aseel including food packages and other necessities to 50 Families (300 individuals) in Paktia province on 24th February, 2022.

Over 97% of Afghanistan's population are at risk of poverty and food scarcity. The statistic is so jarring that many of us may not fully comprehend the depth of the tragedy. In partnership with Aseel, I am raising funds to provide food packages to 50 families in Paktia. One food package will feed a family of 8 for 5 weeks. Aseel's volunteer team on the ground identifies families in need and delivers food packages accordingly. Thank you for your generous donations to this campaign!
