The statistic is so jarring that many of us may not fully comprehend the depth of the tragedy. In partnership with Aseel, I am raising funds to provide food packages to 50 families in Paktia. One food package will feed a family of 8 for 5 weeks. Aseel's volunteer team on the ground identifies families in need and delivers food packages accordingly.
