About Campaign

When the devastating earthquake struck Kunar, families were left shattered — but among the most affected are the women. In the aftermath, their pain and suffering have remained largely unseen. With no female personnel available at first, their voices went unheard, and their needs ignored.

Out of respect for cultural boundaries, it is forbidden to take photos or videos of these women. This silence makes their struggles invisible to the outside world, yet their reality is heartbreaking. Recently, our brave team of female Atalan nurses visited them and returned with a troubling report.

Many women are living without access to toilets or clean water. They have been wearing the same clothes since the earthquake, risking serious diseases from poor hygiene. Newborn babies lie hungry and malnourished, their mothers unable to nourish or protect them in these harsh conditions. Medicine is scarce, doctors are absent, and hope is fading.

This campaign is dedicated to restoring dignity and bringing relief to these women. With your support, we aim to provide:

Hygiene kits to protect against disease,

Essential medicine and medical care,

Portable washrooms and shower areas to ensure basic human dignity,

These women have already lost so much — their homes, their security, and in many cases, their loved ones. They should not also lose their dignity, health, and chance to recover.

Together, we can stand beside them. Your contribution can bring comfort, health, and hope to women who have been left unseen but not forgotten.
