About the Campaign
On Saturday, a 6.3 earthquake struck the city of Herat, Afghanistan, causing damages to over 1,320 homes, both fully damaged or partially damaged. 2 thousand people have been reported dead & 1,240 people injured. The citizens of Herat are in dire need of medical assistance & household resources.
About the Organizer
Farhad Golriz is an Iranian-American social activist born & raised in the United States. He began to get involved with the Afghan community, in which he started to do community work & community service in hopes of making a change for one or more lives. He is currently an intern with multiple Afghan-led non-profits & organizations and has been collaborating with Aseel to help campaign & fundraise for families in Afghanistan to be able to receive humanitarian aid assistance.
