Mohammad Kabir Zargar received his diploma from the Economic School of Studies. He learned the skills as a student at another shop, where he learned the craft of jewelry making. Initially, they opened their factory, employing six artists only to work inside. They take orders from their shop on Chicken Street. They also send the items to their customers through their social media accounts, Facebook and Instagram. Their main goal is to develop and improve the Afghan economy and assist in creating more jobs in Afghanistan. Mohammad Kabir’s vision for the business is to grow into a globally-recognized brand that captures Afghanistan’s roots while broadening the trajectory of where Afghan commerce is heading. As an Afghanistan-based company, sourcing materials and workers solely within the country sparks positive economic growth. Mohammad Kabir hopes to pave the way for the future while honoring Afghan culture and traditions.
