About the Campaign

As the Patika Province has been struck by a 6.1 earthquake small villages in Paktika Province the houses of many Afghan civilians have been damaged. In addition to the damage to homes, thousands are reported dead & injured. As a community from all paths of life. Let’s come together to collect funds to help provide humanitarian relief & assistance to those who have been affected by this earthquake

Afghanistan is prone to quakes, as it's located in a tectonically active region. recently the earthquake was magnitude 6.1 at a depth of some 51km, according to seismologists.

About the Organizer

Farhad Golriz:

is an Iranian-American social activist born and raised in the United States. He began to get involved with the Afghan community in which he started to do community work & community service in hopes of making a change for one or more lives. He is currently an intern with multiple Afghan-led non-profits & organizations and is collaborating with Aseel to help campaign and fundraise for families who lost their houses due to earthquakes in Paktika province.
