Late Sunday, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck the mountainous Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan, leaving behind a trail of devastation. Reports confirm that more than 250 people have been killed and over 500 injured. Entire communities have been shattered, families displaced, and many have lost their only means of survival.
The Situation
This earthquake has left thousands of families without shelter, food, or financial security. With primary breadwinners among the dead or injured, households are now struggling to meet their most basic needs. Survivors face the painful reality of living without homes, daily income, or medical support. Many households have no savings to fall back on, making them extremely vulnerable in this crisis.
Our Response
Aseel is on the ground, prepared to deliver rapid emergency aid to affected families. Through this campaign, we are raising funds to provide immediate life-saving assistance to survivors.
For every $100 raised, we can deliver an Emergency Relief Package that supports a family of five to eight people for at least five weeks. Each package includes:
- A tent for immediate housing
- Cooking essentials and hygiene items
- $50 in cash assistance for urgent needs
This package ensures that families have shelter, food security, and dignity as they begin to recover from this disaster.
Why Immediate Action Matters
