Emergency aid is typically delivered within 24 to 48 working hours to the designated Omid ID holder anywhere in Afghanistan by our Atalan team. In rare cases, deliveries may take longer due to unforeseen challenges such as weather, security issues, or regional access restrictions. Aseel and Atalan are committed to ensuring every package reaches its rightful recipient as quickly and safely as possible.
Aseel charges a $7 Atalan fee for each delivery.
This fee goes directly to Atalan, the delivery service that ensures the items reach the Omid ID holder on time.
You can track the package you sent through Aseel’s DirectAid from (My Contributions) section in your profile or by checking your email for donation updates.

Omid ID is a unique identification number assigned to each family registered through Aseel’s Emergency Response program. The name “Omid”, derived from the Persian word for hope—reflects our mission to bring dignity and relief to families facing crisis. Each Omid ID helps track a family’s location, contact information, level of need, and the support they have received so far. This information ensures aid is delivered efficiently and fairly, and helps determine eligibility for additional assistance. Alongside the ID, every beneficiary receives an Omid Card, a key beneficiary receives an Omid Card, a key tool in our commitment to transparency. It enables donors to directly support families and track the impact of their contributions with trust and accountability.
