CEO’s Big Product Launch: Get Ready for Something New!

In the last two years, Aseel has been there for Afghanistan during tough times through its Do Good program. But, challenges like natural disasters, conflicts, hunger, and poverty often made it hard to provide support openly across Afghanistan. This left donors, organizations, and those needing help hopeless. Nevertheless, Aseel, at the forefront of humanitarian aid, is prepared to bring about a new way of doing things in the aid distribution, "Aseel's DirectAid Beta," primarily in Kabul and then gradually spreading to other provinces of Afghanistan, with complete transparency and accountability.

Recognizing the imperative for a transparent and efficient aid delivery system, Aseel stepped forward to roll out a new addition to its Do Good design. By careful evaluation of user feedback from around the globe, Aseel is set to introduce a fresh approach to aid distribution in Afghanistan, referred to as "Aseel's DirectAid Beta."

The official announcement of this launch will take place during the Devex @ UNGA side event, streaming live from New York City on September 20, 2023, in association with the UN General Assembly (UNGA), where the founder of Aseel, Nasrat Khalid, will highlight the significance and need for this launch.

What is Aseel DirectAid Beta?

DirectAid Beta builds on the previous work of Aseel, where the decentralized aid platform successfully distributed urgent food and humanitarian aid to over half a million people since August 15, 2021. With enhanced system functionality, it provides the users with;

• - Omid ID Cards: Users can identify beneficiaries' contact information, location, and eligibility for assistance using Omid ID cards, which are subsequently registered in the Aseel beneficiary database for further use. This makes the flow even faster and more convenient for the donors.

• - Atalan Network: The presence of on-the-ground volunteers, the Atalan Network, allows for effective distribution. The Atalan Network is responsible for providing real-time reports on everything from beneficiary identification to package preparation and delivery.

• - Transparency & Accountability: We offer a video of the complete  assistance delivery procedure with each aid delivery. We humanize giving and receiving assistance through these videos, allowing donors and beneficiaries to see the direct impact of their efforts.

How Aseel's DirectAid Beta Works

Our DirectAid Beta technology provides users with a seamless flow of aid delivery across Afghanistan. The use of our latest technology, a network of trustworthy partners, and various interactive components such as videos and emails boost transparency in aid delivery.

Aid distribution through Aseel DirectAid Beta involves three key steps:

• 1: Send Aid: This step begins with visiting the Aseel Do Good page and selecting "Send DirectAid to an Omid ID." After choosing the  desired emergency package, you decide whether to Let Aseel  Decide or Someone You Know for distribution. You then select a subscription plan, fill out a short form, and proceed with your aid contribution.

• 2: Track Aid: Once you've confirmed your order, you'll receive a series of emails to keep you informed about the status of your aid package. These emails cover the preparation, pickup, delivery, and completion stages, ensuring you are continuously updated.

• 3: Receive Video: As the Atalan Network delivers the aid to the designated Omid ID holders, you will receive a video via email. This adds transparency and insight into the impact of your aid contribution.
