Yadgar

Some things are made to be used. Others are made to be kept carried from one home to another, unpacked years later, still remembered.

Yadgar means keepsake. In Mazar-i-Sharif, our family shapes wool into flat-weave textiles and thread into crochet, by hand, the way it's been done at home for years not for a shop at first, just for us.

For anyone far from home, and for anyone still in it, we made this so a piece of home could travel with you something to unfold in a new house, in a new country, and feel, for a moment, like nothing has been left behind.
