My name is Fareema, daughter of Abdul Qahar, and I am from Central Baghlan District, Baghlan Province. I completed my education up to grade 12 and have over 20 years of experience in tailoring and clothing design. In 2021, I officially launched Ababil Zaiton, a clothing production brand born from my deep interest in traditional Afghan fashion and my passion for creating job opportunities for young women in our community. Our workshop is located in Kocha Kabul Bank, and I currently lead a team of 30 women artisans. We specialize in a variety of handmade products including Afghani scarves (Gand) for both children and adults, party dresses, and Sim Sari (Afghan traditional embellishment). Each piece is crafted with care, rooted in cultural tradition, and designed to bring out the beauty of Afghan heritage. I learned tailoring from my mother and have carried forward her skills to empower other women through practical, hands-on work. Our products are sold through contracts with shops in our local market and other provinces, helping expand the reach of our craft. Our mission at Ababil Zaiton Clothing Production is to support economic growth, promote women’s entrepreneurship, and preserve Afghan identity through fashion. By joining Aseel, we hope to share our designs with a global audience that values handmade, purpose-driven clothing made by women with heart, history, and hope. Thank you for supporting Ababil Zaiton — where every stitch tells a story of culture, empowerment, and resilience.
