With over 10 years of experience in tailoring and handicraft embroidery, Alocha began her business a decade ago in her mother’s home. Under her mother's guidance, she learned the art of tailoring, and now, with a team of four artisans, she creates a variety of handmade Afghan garments, showcasing the beauty and culture of Afghan traditions. Alocha Tailoring specializes in traditional Afghan dresses (Ghandeh), party dresses (Peyrahan), and embroidered handkerchiefs for special occasions. Each item is carefully crafted with attention to detail, offering customers both traditional and elegant designs. Alocha’s motivation to start her business was to support her family financially and provide work opportunities for women in her community, empowering them through the art of tailoring. By joining Aseel’s platform, Alocha Tailoring has expanded its reach beyond the local market, offering Afghan-made garments to a global audience.
