Khalida Marefat, a talented miniature painter from Kabul, has spent 25 years immersed in Afghanistan's rich cultural heritage. Inspired by art from a young age, she pursued formal training at the Turquoise Mountain Institute, where she honed her skills over three years. After graduating with honors, Khalida founded Aseman Art, initially a small collective of two artists, which has now grown to four, specializing in miniature painting, calligraphy, and Islamic design. Aseman Art has showcased its works in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally. With the help of Aseel, their art now reaches a global audience, preserving and promoting Afghanistan’s artistic heritage.
