Bahar Tailoring Learning Center – Maliha (Rahimi), the founder of Bahar Tailoring Learning Center, is a dedicated entrepreneur from Kapisah, who turned her passion for tailoring into a thriving business and educational hub. With 5 years of experience and a Grade 12 education from Ghamalagh School, Maliha started her career in family sewing before expanding her work to include tailoring courses, empowering women and girls in her community.Founded in 2017, Bahar Tailoring Learning Center is located in Tughak Village, near Ghamalagh Girls’ High School, and now employs 23 skilled professionals. The center creates a variety of garments, including traditional Afghan clothing, Punjabi suits, and modern women's and children's fashion. Each piece is made with care and precision, reflecting both Afghan culture and the latest fashion trends.Maliha’s goal is not only to provide quality clothing but also to create a sustainable income for women in her community. She believes that by teaching these valuable skills, she can help empower women and improve their financial independence. As the business grew, Bahar Tailoring Learning Center became a place where women not only learn tailoring but also gain confidence and the ability to support themselves and their families.Maliha’s journey began through family knowledge and local training courses, and today, she runs a successful learning center where young women and girls can acquire tailoring skills. With the support of Aseel, Bahar Tailoring Learning Center is expanding its reach, allowing their Afghan-made garments to reach international customers. Aseel’s collaboration has helped Bahar Tailoring Learning Center share their quality craftsmanship and empower more women across Afghanistan.Through Bahar Tailoring Learning Center, Maliha is creating more than just clothing; she is stitching together a better future for women, one that is empowered by skills, opportunities.
