My name is Abdul Hafeez Amiry, and I’m the founder of Bamyan Turquoise Jewelry, a handmade jewelry brand born in the heart of Kabul, Afghanistan. My journey began in 2013 when I was just 15 years old, working with Noor Jewelry. Over the next 10 years, I dedicated myself to mastering the art of jewelry-making — learning from the finest traditions of Modern, Turkmen, Hazaragi, Saljoqi, and Malila Herat designs. I worked across many styles and techniques, crafting everything from rings, bracelets, and earrings to necklaces and more. Through this hands-on experience, I grew into one of the passionate and skilled jewelers in Kabul — not only perfecting my craft but also training others along the way. In 2022, I took the leap and launched my own brand, Bamyan Turquoise Jewelry, now proudly employing 7 talented artisans. Each of us brings deep experience and heart into every piece we create. Our workshop is located in the historic Murad Khani area, where our designs draw inspiration from Afghanistan’s rich heritage and ancient cultural sites. Our dream is to share the beauty of traditional Afghan jewelry with the world. By connecting with international designers and jewelry lovers, we hope to tell a story of resilience, craftsmanship, and timeless art — while supporting our local community.
