My name is Abdul Hafeez Amiry, and I’m the founder of Bamyan Turquoise Jewelry, a handmade jewelry brand born in the heart of Kabul, Afghanistan. My journey began in 2013 when I was just 15 years old, working with Noor Jewelry. Over the next 10 years, I dedicated myself to mastering the art of jewelry-making — learning from the finest traditions of Modern, Turkmen, Hazaragi, Saljoqi, and Malila Herat designs. I worked across many styles and techniques, crafting everything from rings, bracelets, and earrings to necklaces and more.
