My name is Bibi Shamira Satari, from Pul-e-Khumri District in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan. I hold a bachelor's degree and have over thirteen years of experience in tailoring and traditional Afghan handicrafts. In 1398 (2019), I began my business with just one sewing machine. As a widow and head of my household, I was driven by both passion and necessity. What started as a small effort has grown into Banoe Rostaie Tailoring, a registered brand that now employs eight people and provides income opportunities for rural women. Our shop, located in the Transport Terminal of Baghlan, produces a wide variety of handmade products, including traditional clothing, local scarves (Gand), embroidery, leather goods, and beadwork. I learned these skills through professional courses, experienced teachers, and seminars. Our customers come from Baghlan and neighboring provinces, where there is a strong appreciation for handcrafted, culturally rooted products. Through this business, I aim to promote Afghan craftsmanship, empower women, and improve the economic well-being of our communities. By joining Aseel, we hope to reach global customers who value authenticity and support women-led businesses. Thank you for supporting Banoe Rostaie Tailoring — where every piece carries the story of strength and tradition.
