My name is Haji Malik Mohammad, and I come from the beautiful village of Istalif, a place in Afghanistan known for its rich tradition of pottery and ceramics. I run the Haji Malik Mohammad Ceramic Shop, where we make handmade ceramic items using local clay and traditional techniques that have been passed down for generations. Our ceramics are not just products — they are a part of our history. Every bowl, vase, and decorative piece is made by hand, fired in our own kilns, and painted using natural colors. These crafts carry the soul of Istalif, a village that has kept this art alive through difficult times. For years, I’ve been working with other local artisans to keep this tradition going. Our shop is small, but it’s full of hard work, patience, and pride. We believe in the beauty of handmade work and want to share that with the world. Thanks to Aseel, our ceramic pieces now have a way to reach people outside of Afghanistan. Aseel gives us the chance to show our handmade crafts to new customers who appreciate tradition and culture. This platform has opened a door for us — helping not just my shop, but the whole community of Istalif artisans. When you support our shop, you’re not just buying a ceramic piece — you’re supporting Afghan craftsmanship, history, and hope. — Haji Malik Mohammad
