Hello, my name is Zuhal, and I am the proud owner of Harrer Tailoring Workshop in the center of Kunduz province. I’ve been working in tailoring and leather crafting for 7 years, and I started this business in 2018, driven by both economic needs and a passion for the craft. The workshop is located in Bandar Imam Sahib, near Balasahar, and I currently have six skilled employees. We specialize in Afghan traditional garments, leatherwork, and home décor items like bed covers and curtains. My goal is to promote Afghan culture, improve my family’s financial situation, and create job opportunities for others. Through our partnership with Aseel, our handmade products are reaching a global audience, empowering Afghan artisans and expanding our reach. We currently work with local shop owners in Kunduz, fulfilling orders of around 8-10 garments a week, combining leatherwork and graphic design. I’m dedicated to growing my business into a larger workshop to provide even more opportunities for my family and community.
