My name is Husna Jalali, and I proudly run Husna Tailors from District 15, Kandahar. I’ve studied up to the second grade and have five years of tailoring experience, which I’ve built through hard work and dedication to a craft I truly love. At first, I started by sewing clothes at home. But as my skills and confidence grew, I began to dream bigger. Today, I lead a team and offer our work through my own brand, hoping to bring traditional Afghan clothing to a wider audience both locally and internationally. Husna Tailors specializes in Afghani dresses, embroidered clothing, and handcrafted designs. We focus not only on quality but also on building relationships with our customers—understanding their needs and tailoring with care. My dream is to one day open a dedicated shop where I can showcase my designs professionally. I also want to participate in exhibitions, expand into global markets, and collaborate with others who share my vision for women-led businesses. Through platforms like Aseel, I see a future where our work reaches customers worldwide—people who care about handmade craftsmanship and want to support Afghan women who are creating beauty, strength, and economic independence through their work.
