Jasoor Handicrafts Center

Afghanistan

My name is Sabera Jasoor, and I am from Pul-e-Khumri, Baghlan Province, Afghanistan. I completed secondary education and have 10 years of experience in tailoring and handmade crafts. In 1401 (2022), I officially launched Jasoor Handicrafts Center, starting from a small workshop built on passion and dedication. Our center is located in Sarai Banjara, where I now lead a team of 20 women artisans. Together, we specialize in a variety of traditional Afghan crafts, including tailoring, leather embroidery (Charma Dozi), beadwork (Mora Dozi), and other handicrafts that reflect the richness of Afghan culture. I developed my skills while working with a private company, and from there, I nurtured the idea of creating my own brand. My inspiration came from a deep love for the art and the dream of building something meaningful. Today, our products are well-received, and we take pride in the quality and creativity of our work. The goal of Jasoor Handicrafts Center is to achieve long-term success, empower women, and promote Afghan craftsmanship through consistent, high-quality production. By joining Aseel, we look forward to connecting with a global market that values authenticity, culture, and the strength of women-led businesses. Thank you for supporting Jasoor Handicrafts Center — where every piece is crafted with passion, purpose, and pride.
