Welcome to Kerki Weavers, a family-owned Afghan carpet company proudly preserving the art of traditional weaving. Founded in 2002 by Abdul Ghaffar Alaich in a refugee camp, our story is one of resilience, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage. Now based in Aqcha, Jozjan Province, we employ a dedicated team of 50 staff and collaborate with over 5,000 home-based artisans—many of them women—who bring generations of skill to every piece. Each rug is entirely handmade using time-honored techniqu.
