Khalida Tailoring – Crafting Quality and Empowering Communities Based in Asadabad, Kunar Province, Khalida founded “Khalida Khiyati” after gaining 8 years of experience in both handmade and machine tailoring. Starting her business in 2017 with wholesale sales, Khalida expanded into the retail market just four months ago. Khalida, with no formal education, honed her skills through practical experience within her family’s business. Today, she leads a team of 6 in her shop in Shaheedan Village, creating a variety of traditional Afghan clothing, tailored garments, and custom-designed outfits. Her motivation was to establish her own business and provide high-quality products to her community, while also contributing to her family’s financial well-being. As the business grows, Khalida’s goals include expanding the brand, opening additional locations, and launching an online platform for global sales. With Aseel's support, Khalida Khiyati is now ready to reach a broader market, sharing her work with international customers. This collaboration is a step toward growing her brand and creating a lasting impact in her community.
