Afghanistan

Khalida Tailoring Workshop – Crafting Quality with Tradition and Care Khalida, the founder of Khalida Tailoring Workshop, has been a passionate and dedicated tailor for over 3 years. Based in Tisheh, Kunar Province, Khalida began her journey in tailoring 3 years ago with the goal of creating quality clothing and supporting her family. With Grade 12 education, Khalida learned the craft of tailoring in her village, where she developed the skills necessary to create beautiful garments. Since then, her business has grown, and today she leads a team of 8 employees, producing a variety of high-quality garments including Punjabi, Afghan, and Pakistani styles. Khalida’s mission for Khalida Tailoring Workshop was not only to provide excellent clothing to her community but also to help provide a stable livelihood for her family. She aims to create a business that supports her family’s financial needs while promoting Afghan tradition through carefully tailored clothes. The products at Khalida Tailoring Workshop range from traditional Punjabi outfits to Afghan and Pakistani styles, all made with the highest attention to detail. The pricing for her products ranges from 15,000 to 25,000 AFN, depending on the type and complexity of the garment. Khalida’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction ensures that each piece is made with care. With the support of Aseel, Khalida Tailoring Workshop is now ready to expand its reach and share Afghan-made clothing with a global audience. This collaboration allows Khalida to bring her expertly crafted garments to international customers, while also supporting local artisans and empowering women in her community. Looking ahead, Khalida hopes to expand her business further, provide even more opportunities for her employees, and continue to support her community by offering top-notch tailoring services. Through Khalida Tailoring Workshop, Khalida is not just stitching clothes; she’s weaving a story of hard work, tradition, and family
