My name is Najila Khawasy, and I am from Kunduz City, Afghanistan. I hold a bachelor’s degree and bring with me 10 years of experience in tailoring and traditional clothing design. I officially began my business journey in 2015, starting small by selling my designs directly to customers or through local shops. I also participated in advisory programs that helped shape my business plan and sharpen my focus on customer satisfaction. Although I have not yet established a physical store due to limited financial resources, I operate my production from home and offer my products both in-person and online. I currently manage a team of 12 women, and while we only have six sewing machines, we make the most of every tool available to us with commitment and teamwork. I created Najila Brand out of a desire to offer something unique in the market—products that combine creativity, quality, and cultural identity. Our handmade collection includes Afghani scarves for women and children, traditional vests for men, women, and children, as well as handbags and custom accessories. Every item is crafted with care to meet the expectations of our customers. I learned tailoring through hands-on experience with skilled instructors and continued to improve my craft by working in various workshops. Over time, this experience helped me specialize in creating detailed, high-quality garments. My goals are to create sustainable income, build a strong brand, and provide reliable, high-quality services to my customers. I focus on personal interaction and clear communication with clients, which has helped build trust and grow my customer base. By joining Aseel, I look forward to reaching more supporters who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and women-led businesses. Thank you for supporting Khayati Gandi Afghani Ghorbandi – Najila Brand — where tradition meets dedication, and every piece is made with purpose and pride.
