Negin Marzoqi Handicrafts Company

-

My name is Laila Kazemi, originally from Pul-e-Khumri District, Baghlan Province, and I hold a bachelor’s degree with over nine years of experience in tailoring and handicrafts. I launched Negin Marzoqi Handicrafts Company in 1396 (2017) with minimal capital and many challenges, but with determination, faith, and a clear vision, I was able to grow a small idea into a company that now supports over 100 women, both in-shop and from home. Our workshop is located on the third floor of Bakhtar Market, and we focus on producing traditional and Arabic dresses, embroidered art pieces, beadwork on Qur'an covers, mirror-painted designs, handmade bags, and custom footwear. I learned tailoring through formal training in Mazar-e-Sharif, while mastering other skills through self-learning and dedication. From day one, my goal has been to empower women—especially those restricted by social and family barriers—and to preserve Afghan artistry through meaningful work. Today, by joining Aseel, I have the chance to share our handmade creations with the world and connect with customers who value tradition and women-led businesses. Thank you for supporting Negin Marzoqi Handicrafts Company — where every design carries the spirit of resilience, culture, and hope.
