My name is Nelam Nazary, and I come from Nahrin district in Baghlan province, Afghanistan. Ever since I was young, I’ve been passionate about traditional Afghan crafts and embroidery. In 2014, I decided to turn that passion into a purpose—and that's when I founded Nelam Nazary Handicrafts Company. What started as a small idea has grown into a business that now supports 40 women from my local community. Together, we create beautiful handcrafted pieces that reflect our heritage and identity.
