My name is Nilofar Mohammadi, and I am from Kunduz City, Afghanistan. I completed grade 12 and bring with me over 20 years of experience in tailoring. I began my journey as a teenager with very little budget but a strong passion for creating clothing. Today, I lead Mohammadi Brand, officially known as Nilofar Mohammadi Tailoring Workshop, located in Maidan-e-Pukhta, Kunduz. I currently work with a team of 20 women, creating a variety of high-quality garments for different customers. Our workshop specializes in party dresses, children’s clothing, and men’s wear, each made with care and designed to reflect both tradition and everyday needs. I learned all my tailoring skills from my family during childhood and developed them through years of hands-on experience. Encouragement from our community motivated me to establish this brand. My goal has always been to support my family financially and contribute to the local economy by offering reliable and culturally relevant clothing. While I do not operate under formal contracts, I fulfill custom orders directly from customers, ensuring satisfaction and trust through personal attention. By joining Aseel, I hope to bring our handmade clothing to a global audience and create more opportunities for women through meaningful, skill-based work.
