After completing her Bachelor's degree, Yalda turned her passion for sewing into a successful business. Starting with limited resources, Yalda opened her workshop in Jamalagh Village, located in the heart of Kapisah, and began offering high-quality Afghan clothing for women and children. At Omid Now Tailoring Center, Yalda and her team of 6 employees specialize in creating Punjabi, hijabs, school uniforms, Bamyan and Tajik-style clothing, and embroidered Yakhans. Each garment is tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients, ensuring both quality and cultural authenticity. Yalda’s goal is not just to provide beautiful clothing but to create a sustainable source of income for her family and the women in her community. She is passionate about providing training opportunities for local women to help them gain financial independence and contribute to their families. Her journey began with family skills and grew with local training courses. Today, her business thrives through sales in the local market, where her loyal customers continue to seek out her products. Thanks to the support of Aseel, Omid Now Tailoring Center is expanding its reach and sharing Afghan-made clothing with a broader audience.
