Mohammad Bashir Paikan, the founder of Paikan Gallery, embarked on his artistic journey in 1981 at the age of 16, driven by an unwavering passion for calligraphy and Islamic miniature painting. With a master's degree in fine arts, Mohammad Bashir honed his skills in drawing and calligraphy under the guidance of his elder brother, Mohammad Munir Paikan, and received three years of training at the Gholam Mohammad Memanagi Center. Paikan Gallery stands as a distinguished brand that not only showcases Afghanistan's rich cultural heritage but also promotes Afghan artistry.
