My name is Madiina Zafari, and I’m from Khan Abad district in Kunduz. I’ve been working in tailoring for over 10 years and learned most of my skills through real-life experience, especially during the last three years while working closely with a tailoring teacher in our area. I finished school up to grade 12, and tailoring has become both my work and my passion. Right now, I don’t have an official brand, but I run my small business under the name Qurs Dozi Madina, and we’re a team of five women. Together, we make many different handmade products — traditional Afghani clothes, Indian dresses, men's and women’s vests, Tajiki-style wedding clothes, dowry sets, bed covers, cushions, and more. My goal is to grow our work, support other women in my community, and help improve the local economy in any way I can. I’ve joined Aseel to connect with more people who appreciate our culture and handmade work. Every order means a lot to us and helps us continue what we’re doing.
