Robina Tailoring – Crafting Tradition and Quality with Passion In the heart of Asadabad, Kunar Province, Robina has been weaving her passion for tailoring into a thriving business. Through her brand, "Khwindo Khiyati" (Sisters' Tailoring), she has spent the last four years building a name for herself in the world of traditional Afghan clothing. A Grade 14 graduate, Robina’s journey began with a desire to turn her love for tailoring into a meaningful career. With the support of two experienced instructors and two apprentices, she learned the trade and honed her skills to perfection. Her workshop is based in Damkali, Kunar, where she produces a wide variety of Afghan clothing, including Punjabi, Rif, Shami, Umbrella-style dresses, Shalwar Kameez, and Orif Panchi—all made with precision and cultural pride. Robina’s motivation to create Khwindo Khiyati was to grow her business into a brand that could expand and reach more customers, while also providing sustainable income for herself and her family. She is committed to offering high-quality products while helping preserve Afghan heritage and fashion. With an income of 12,000 AFN per month from her personal sales, Robina’s business continues to grow steadily. Her work is not just about earning a livelihood, but also about serving her community, promoting Afghan culture, and empowering women. Through Aseel, Robina hopes to expand her reach even further, connecting her unique designs to customers worldwide, and helping her business take its next step toward becoming a recognized brand in the global marketplace. Robina Tailoring is more than just a business; it is a journey of empowerment, craftsmanship, and dedication to her community and Afghan culture.
