SADAT Tailoring – Empowering Women Through Tailoring and Entrepreneurship Founded by Zakya Sadaat in Logar Province, SADAT Tailoring offers custom-made Afghan clothing and aims to empower women through tailoring. Starting in 2020, Zakya built her business after learning the craft through a BPRM-sponsored course and online programs. With a team of 8 women and 1 man, SADAT Tailoring specializes in traditional Afghan outfits, children’s wear, and hijabs. Through a partnership with Aseel, SADAT Tailoring has expanded internationally, allowing Zakya to reach Afghans abroad and global customers, while empowering local women. The business has received positive feedback for its high-quality tailoring, and Zakya is focused on growth, offering seasonal collections and expanding globally. Zakya’s mission is to create job opportunities for women and to promote Afghan tailoring on an international scale, aiming to achieve financial independence and business growth.
