Sadia’s journey began nearly 7 to 8 years ago as she sought a way to overcome economic challenges within her family. Inspired by the support of her loved ones, she decided to start her own tailoring business, specializing in both women’s and men’s clothing, from traditional Afghan garments like chirmo (coats) and patros, to Punjabi suits, Indian styles, and more. Operating from her home in Khalah Sar Kar Khana, Sadia now leads a team of 7 dedicated workers, creating high-quality garments that are tailored with care and precision. Despite having no formal tailoring education, Sadia honed her skills through her mother and Tandar, who were both highly skilled in the craft, and learned the art of tailoring at home. Sadia’s brand is not just about making clothes—it’s about improving her family’s financial situation, empowering women, and bringing quality clothing to her community. By selling directly to her local neighbors and shopkeepers, Sadia ensures that her designs reach those who need them most, offering affordable prices without compromising on quality.
