Setareh Khorshid Handicrafts

My name is Salima Yousufi, daughter of Mohammad Aslam, and I’m the founder of Setareh Khorshid Handicrafts based in Kunduz, Afghanistan. I learned tailoring and embroidery from my dear mother, who passed down not only her skills but her love for the craft. After working for over 12 years, I decided to formally start my own business two years ago in the center of Kunduz, on Sarak-e-Naw. Today, I proudly lead a team of 12 hardworking women. We create a variety of handmade products, including men’s and women’s clothing, gul dozi, mouri dozi, graphy dozi, and other traditional designs.
