Shukola Tailoring Workshop

My name is Qamargula, daughter of Amir Mohammad, and I run Shukola Tailoring Workshop here in Arghandab, Zabul. I started this workshop more than five years ago because I’ve always loved working with traditional Afghani fabrics, especially Hindara, leather, and Maryo. I completed my 10th grade and learned tailoring by closely observing clothes in the market and practicing on my own. I used to have a small tailoring space, but it closed about nine months ago. Still, I didn’t give up.
