My name is Bibi Rahmato, and I’m the founder of Zeba Tailoring Workshop, located in the center of Zabul province. Although I didn’t have the chance to attend formal school, I’ve been working with my hands and learning tailoring through personal experience for the past 8 years. I officially started my home-based tailoring business two years ago, focusing on hand-stitched clothing. My brand, Zeba Tailoring, specializes in handmade traditional garments for women, crafted with care, skill, and cultural authenticity. I currently run the business from home and operate independently, managing orders and staying connected to my community through word of mouth. All my skills were learned informally—through hands-on practice and daily dedication. My goal is to grow my business, serve more women in my community, and eventually turn this passion into a stable and recognized source of income. Every piece I create represents hard work and a deep connection to our local traditions. With the support of platforms like Aseel, I hope to expand my reach and bring handmade Afghan clothing to more customers, while empowering myself and others through honest, homegrown work.
