My name is Madina Madadi, and I come from the heart of Zabul. I may hold a degree in medical sciences, but my true passion has always been fashion—designing, stitching, and creating clothes that make women feel beautiful, confident, and proud of their identity. For as long as I can remember, design ideas would come to me so naturally. Whenever I shared my sketches or stitched something new, the people around me encouraged me. They saw something in my work—and I started seeing it too. That’s when the idea for ZIB POSH was born. I started small, with one shop in Zabul Bazaar. Every dress I made carried a part of my story—my roots, my passion, and my belief that Afghan women deserve both beauty and opportunity. My goal isn’t just to sell clothes. I dream of one day opening a large workshop, a space where other women—especially mothers and young girls—can come, work, learn, and earn with dignity. Joining Aseel changed everything for me. Their support helped me take my designs beyond Zabul. Now, people around the world can discover what I’ve created with my own hands. Through Aseel, I’ve been able to earn a living from my passion—and more importantly, I’ve found a platform that believes in Afghan women like me.
