I am Zoya Mohammadi, a graduate of Dari Language and Literature from Kabul University. From the beginning, I had a strong passion for design. I first learned crochet from my grandmother, but I didn’t put it to use at that time. Zoya Shop. After recent changes in the country, I decided to start a home-based business to create a source of income to support my family. Life’s challenges, from house rent to my children’s school expenses, were overwhelming. Last winter, I only had 3,000 AFN and had to make a crucial decision. Instead of spending it on daily needs, I invested in raw materials and started making handmade crochet handbags. Fortunately, I succeeded, and my first handbag was purchased by one of my colleagues, who loved it. Encouraged by this, my colleagues suggested that I set up an online shop for my work. I have been knitting since my school days, making items like bath scrubs, loofahs, and shawls for my family, but never as a source of income. After years of service in the education sector, I now hope to provide high-quality handmade crochet products that align with customers’ tastes. My goal is to use my creativity and craftsmanship to make unique, beautiful, and practical accessories that people will love.
