About Campaign

Noorullah is a hardworking father of four children, living under difficult circumstances. Each day, he works tirelessly in the local market, earning between 100 to 150 Afghanis barely enough to cover even the most basic needs. Despite his efforts, his income remains insufficient to support his family, especially with the high cost of living. He lives in a rented house, paying 5,000 Afghanis each month for shelter, which takes a significant portion of his earnings. Adding to the family’s challenges, Noorullah’s wife is ill and in desperate need of medical attention. However, due to their financial struggles, Noorullah cannot afford proper treatment for her. This not only puts her health at risk but also weighs heavily on Noorullah, who feels helpless in the face of their mounting difficulties. Their children also face the brunt of these hardships. They attend school wearing clothes that have been generously given by others, as Noorullah cannot afford to buy them new clothes. Although he is committed to providing them with an education, the lack of resources makes everyday life a constant struggle. Noorullah’s situation is one of endurance and quiet suffering, as he tries to keep his family afloat with the little he has.

Aiesha Quraishi

Aisha Quraishi, daughter of Ghulam Zekria, hails from Kabul province, where she lives with her family. As the eldest child, Aisha has always embraced the importance of education and service to her community. Her educational journey began and concluded with the International Committee of the Red Cross (I.C.R.C), where she completed her school lessons. Motivated by a desire for self-improvement, Aisha furthered her skills by learning English and computer proficiency through various courses. Her dedication to education led her to participate in several online learning opportunities. Aisha's commitment to professional development culminated in a successful exam for job applications, after which she underwent a six-day training in PMS data entry at the I.C.R.C. This experience paved the way for her to gain valuable work experience with the Afghan Women Community page, affiliated with the United Nations, where she contributed for five months. With aspirations of higher education, Aisha enrolled in university but faced challenges when the institutions were closed due to government decisions. Despite this setback, her passion for serving others remained unwavering. Currently, she works as a Do-Good intern at the Aseel Institution, where she continues to focus on supporting those in need, particularly individuals with disabilities. Aisha's journey is a testament to her resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in her community.
