About Campaign
Zabihullah Hassanzada, 41, is the father of three children—two sons and one daughter—and lives with his family of five. Twenty years ago, he suffered a tragic accident that left one of his hands paralyzed, rendering him unable to work and support his family. Their hardships have worsened as his second son battles microbial cancer, requiring continuous treatment until he turns eight. Every month, they struggle to buy medicine and pay for medical tests, often resorting to sending a photo of the prescription to Kabul since local doctors in Kunduz have refused to treat him. The doctors in Kabul have warned that if the treatment is interrupted, his son risks becoming paralyzed.
The family’s sole source of income is Zabihullah’s wife, who works tirelessly doing tailoring, embroidery, and needlework to earn enough to cover basic household expenses. However, her earnings are not enough to meet the demands of their son’s medical treatment and the family’s day-to-day needs. They are facing immense difficulties, and without help, their situation grows more desperate.
This campaign aims to provide critical financial support to ensure Zabihullah’s son can continue his treatment and to help this family survive the overwhelming challenges they face.
