Abrisham Style

Selling from Afghanishtan

Zainab Mohammadi, the owner of the Abrisham Style brand, started this brand in 2020 at the age of 31. Her love for fashion and clothing started at a young age, eventually becoming her passion and profession. After completing her high school education, Zainab joined Kabul University and pursued a degree in Mathematics. However, her true calling was in the fashion industry. With this passion in mind, she began her professional career in fashion and clothing. With her expertise in embroidery, stitching, weaving, and knitting, Zainab has established her brand and become a tutor for other artisans working at her workshop. Her business employs around nineteen students with a single teacher to ensure business operations run smoothly and efficiently. The brand offers a wide range of handmade embroidered dresses to hand-knitted crochet featuring old traditional motifs with a twist of modern touch. The raw materials used in her products are locally sourced from the markets of Afghanistan, which not only reflects the essence of traditional culture but also contributes positively to the local economy. Zainab's vision is to expand her business and create more job opportunities for women in Afghanistan, especially for widows struggling to make an earning. She believes Afghan women have hidden talents worth exploring and sharing with those who value such arts. She aims to give these women a platform to showcase their skills and empower them to become self-sufficient. She hopes to continue to inspire and empower women with her work.
