Nasrin Ibrahimi, the owner and founder of Goharshad Jewelry, has dedicated 25 years to teaching in various schools in Kabul, including Abuzar Ghafari, Omul-Banin, and other institutions. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Kabul University. In 2012, Nasrin enrolled in a women's course in Bagh-e-Zanana, organized by the Italian government, where she discovered her passion for designing and producing stunning jewelry pieces. In 2014, Nasrin initiated her business in collaboration with two female artists aiming to strengthen their skills and establish a strong career base. With over a decade of jewelry-making experience, Nasrin now employs a team of three people engaged directly in business operations. She has experienced nine years of working with international clients and has exported more than 1000 pieces of jewelry. And participate in national and international exhibitions like US embassy exhibitions, yearly Turquoise mountain exhibitions, and Baagh zanana and others. The jewelry she creates showcases a blend of modern and traditional Afghan designs infused with the beauty of poetry, making each ornament sparkle with glamor. Raw materials are sourced from different provinces of Afghanistan, and the production process involves designing, assembling, and examining each gemstone for quality and cutting them into specific shapes and sizes. Nasrin envisions becoming a renowned jewelry designer and expanding her business globally through Aseel's collaboration and Turquoise Mountain's business development support.
