Shamsa Children Village

Selling from Afghanishtan

Shamsa Maryam Gilani, the owner of the Shamsa Orphanage, began her work in 1399 at the age of 17 with the intention of providing assistance and support to orphan girls. After working for four years, she gained two years of experience in the clothing industry. She attended Irfanian School for six months with her instructor, where she learned new skills. Her students, who reside in the orphanage, help her carry out her work activities in a timely manner. Currently, the brand produces and sells Afghan clothes, custom clothing, and other types of clothing locally. The brand has a stock of twenty products, which are handmade using their own designs or the designs taken from a catalog based on customer demands. The brand has not yet operated professionally, but with the cooperation of external merchants, business operations are continuing. However, due to the high prices, local customers in Afghanistan are not buying these clothes. Consequently, the brand aims to reach global customers while also boosting the financial stability of the brand, the orphan girls, and the country of Afghanistan. The goal for the future is to establish a large workshop that can help Afghanistan economically.
