A hand-crocheted cotton dastpak (napkin) in bold teal and red stripes, finished with a scalloped edge. Made by hand in Mazar-i-Sharif, roughly one day of work goes into each piece.

Approximately 30x40cm.

Traditionally used as a napkin at the table, it also works well as a small placemat, a base for a teapot or vase, or a decorative accent piece. Each one is one-of-a-kind slight variations in stitch tension are part of the handmade character.

Care: Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
