Nadia Nazary Brand Meet Nadiya Nazary, the founder of Nazary Brand, a women-led business based in Logar Province, Afghanistan. Despite having limited formal education, Nadiya has overcome challenges and proudly considers herself 30% literate. Her love for sewing and design was sparked through watching videos on Facebook and learning directly from people around her. What began as a modest effort at home is now a growing business with six dedicated women working alongside her. From her home-based workspace, Nadiya creates a range of beautiful Afghan clothing, specializing in Gand Afghani dresses, beadwork, and khamak embroidery. Every piece is handmade with care, reflecting Afghan identity, tradition, and the hands of empowered women. Her motivation for building this brand is simple yet powerful — to improve her life and serve her community. Nadiya dreams of growing her business, not just for herself, but for the economic progress of other women like her. She currently sells both by custom orders and through local shops, and hopes to reach even more people through online platforms.
