Nematullah and Brotheran Jewelry

Selling from Afghanishtan

Nematullah Hakimi is the founder and owner of Nematullah and Brotheran Jewelry. He completed the 12th grade in Kabul, Afghanistan, and at the age of ten, he learned and practiced the craft from his father. Nematullah has 35 years of experience in the crafting industry. Initially, the company could only hire two craftsmen. However, whenever the company received large orders, Nematullah’s brothers assisted the company and workers in producing, preparing, and delivering orders to specific addresses. The artisans create and design these decorative items using contemporary designs and styles indigenous to Afghan tradition and culture. These pieces feature antique gemstones from Afghanistan, including lapis lazuli. The raw materials used to make decorative items are purchased from the Shahr-Now-Koche-Antique Shop or other locations in Afghanistan. The brand envisions seeing antique crafting ideas and works of Afghan artisans on a global scale, thereby contributing to the Afghan economy and the company. The partnership with Aseel, according to the founder, is the first step in attracting customers to high-quality craftworks who understand and value such artistic collections.
